My family doctor referred me for a CT scan and bone scan of my lower back after I complained of chronic back pains. He prescribed NSAID Naprosyn to reduce the pains but he was concerned that being a diabetic and prone to kidney damage, I should not be on this medication for a long period. However, I found that I needed to take Naprosyn regularly since the pains return when I stop taking them. My scans showed that I have herniated discs in my lower back.

I have had past episode of the same pains but they go away after several days or weeks. Last year, the pains have become chronic and so my doctor referred me for physiotherapy and massage therapy. While they provided some short term relief, the pains will not go away. My back pains range from moderate to severe giving me difficulty getting out of bed and the car.

Desperate for a cure, I searched the internet and found out about spinal decompression at Axis Spine Clinic (i.e. Low Back Clinic). After just twenty sessions on the machine, I was able to stop taking Naprosyn for my back pains. Dr. Liem and the staff at the clinic were very friendly which make me feel like a guest rather than a patient. Following treatment, I make a trip back to the Philippines which took more than 20 hours of flying time, each way. I was worried that the long duration of sitting in the cramped plane seats would make my back pains recur, but it did not. Now, more than eight months after my treatments, I am still free of my lower back pains and not taking any pain medication that could complicate the management of my diabetes and kidney problems.

My quality of life has improved since my treatments. I can accompany my wife to travel when she wants and not worrying that my back pains will prevent me from fully enjoying the trips.

I highly recommend to others suffering from similar back pains to try spinal decompression where other remedies have failed. The successful remedy that could be looking for could be at the Low Back Clinic. I am glad I found out about this treatment and surely, it was well worth it!!

For many years I have suffered from neck pain radiating to my right arm and severe constant headaches almost on a daily basis. I was wearing a collar, taking pain pills and undergoing conventional physiotherapy, massage and chiropractic treatments. They gave me only some temporary relief. I was moody, miserable and unable to enjoy life's activities. On top of it, the treatments were draining me physically and emotionally.

I read about the Low Back Clinic's treatments and decided to try. To be frank, the skeptic in me was not very optimistic and thought of it as perhaps another gimmick, but it can't hurt to try. I underwent treatment.

I must say that there has been considerable improvement. The headaches and radiating pain in my neck and right arm have subsided considerably enabling me to resume some of the activities without pain. Before having treatment at the Low Back Clinic I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and bulging discs which caused me to have severe lower back pain, hip pain and numbness in my legs and feet and very little range of motion.

Prior to care at the Low Back Clinic I tried chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage, bed rest and pain medication. I was barely able to get out of bed without help. Couldn't walk very far without pain. Couldn't sit or lie down for long without pain. I didn't sleep well and I had to go into our hot tub for 20-30 minutes in the morning just to get moving! I was on Morphine for the pain!

Dr. Liem and his staff were wonderful. They made you feel completely comfortable. They explained the procedure so you felt secure. They were always making sure you were comfortable.

After completing treatment at the Low Back Clinic, I have no pain in my lower back, no numbness in my legs and I don't have to take any pain medication!! I can walk, swim, drive my car and I can play with my grandchildren!! I have a life now. one that I thought was lost to me forever!

If I could tell anything to others suffering from neck or lower back pain I would say to absolutely try it! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. To be pain free after years of agony is a blessing that you can't put a price on.

If anyone has a back problem they should seriously consider this treatment option. I was very skeptical at first but it certainly made a believer out of me. Dr. Liem is one of the most caring and companionate health care professionals I have ever met. He truly cares about his patients and works long hours so people like myself can live a pain free life.

Basically, all activities ceased and I was only able to work. And I could only work wearing hot and cold patches to help with the pain. I was in severe pain the whole day and when I got home I had to lie down to try and ease the pain.

My first initial injury was in February 2001. I tried physiotherapy and 3 epidural needles in my back and that did not work. Then I tried chiropractic care and that worked for about 2 years at going at a frequency of 2 to 3 times per week and then the pain started coming back.

Coming to the Low Back Clinic, my overall experience was great! After the first or second treatment my pain started to subside! The staff was very friendly and made you feel at ease and always asked me how I felt every visit and answered any questions I had.

Now that I have completed treatment at the Low Back Clinic, I am now able to go bowling, golfing, work around the house, sit and walk with no pain. which I could not do before the treatment!

I would highly recommend the Low Back Clinic to anyone suffering from low back pain. They should not be afraid or leery of it. Follow Dr. Liem's instructions exactly and do not waver from it and you will see the results from the Low Back Clinic.

I would just like to say that my wife was very leery about Dr. Liem's treatment when I first talked about it. But now she has no doubts and even tells other people she meets with back pain how much it has helped me. I tell people I know with back pain to try a consultation with Dr. Liem.

Before starting care at the Low Back Clinic my condition was very poor and I had extreme stiffness in the mornings where I could no longer get out of bed. To add, I lacked sleep because of the pain.

Previous treatments that I had tried was medication and physiotherapy, but they did not work.

Activities that I used to enjoy be could not anymore included skiing, tennis and gardening.

Before I came to the Low Back Clinic I was experiencing chronic back pain. I tried everything to fix my back, except

for surgery, and nothing worked. My back would constantly lock up creating pain through my hips and legs. I had problems walking, bending down, sleeping, doing any physical work and had mood swings due to the severe pain.

After having completing my treatment at the Low Back Clinic, I am no longer in chronic pain and am able to get a full nights rest without any discomfort. Being able to do things again, without any pain makes me very happy!

I was diagnosed with 6 bulging discs and spinal stenosis and I had severe lower back pain and could hardly put any weight on my right leg. Walking was almost impossible due to severe pain - like a knife going into my right leg.

I feel that the most important aspect of this treatment at the Low Back Clinic for me is that it got me off "Morphine"! My pain was so bad that I was on prescription pain killers 24/7 and I could no longer drive or function normally. To me this is a "milestone" in my life to be off prescription drugs and feeling great with no pain! I am now 100% pain-free! If there is anything that I would say to people thinking about treatment at the Low Back Clinic it is "Go for it!" Surgery could have left me crippled for the rest of my life and if I continued the way I was going I would be heading for a walker or a wheel chair.

Prior to having treatment, I had periodic lower back pain for years due to a rear-end car accident that I had. I would have rated my pain prior to treatment at the Low Back Clinic as moderate to severe.

Due to the pain that I was experiencing I could no longer garden because the pain made it so I couldn't bend or lift.

Prior to coming to see Dr. Liem, I previously tried pain medication and chiropractic care and both did not help me. Now, after undergoing care at the Low Back Clinic I have no back pain and now I am able to exercise regularly.
